This year’s special 10th-anniversary edition Impact CEE 2025 was truly inspiring.
I had the opportunity to listen to thought-provoking debates on Europe’s competitiveness, building technological advantage through AI, and the role of courage in driving innovation. A highlight was the fascinating lecture by Prof. Anna Lemke (Stanford University) on balancing pleasure and pain in human behavior.
Other standout moments included:
Prof. Michał Zembala’s insightful session on medical innovation.
A compelling panel on obesity as a one of the public health challenge.
An engaging conversation between Prof. Francis Fukuyama (Stanford University) and Sylvie Kauffmann (Le Monde) on navigating turbulent times.
A deeply inspiring talk between Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk and Katarzyna Kasia about the power of language and the search for new words.
The event closed with a discussion featuring Barack Obama (Former President of the United States), moderated by Timothy Snyder (Yale University/University of Toronto).
