Current EIT Health projects

From Scientists to Innovators for Industry / SCI FI project is a 3-month course consisting of online modules, seminars, mentoring sessions and in-person events. The training cycle is aimed at PhD students and young researchers who are interested in starting a career in industry or starting cooperation with industry as part of their research.

During this 3-month course, participants acquire skills in:
– communication and cooperation,
– understanding the customer’s needs, project-oriented thinking and prototyping,
– strategic management,
– problem-solving and critical thinking,
– project management,
– operational management,
– finance management and market access.
In addition, modules with the following content are envisaged: intellectual property, regulations on medical device and digital transformation.

All activities are organized in cooperation with the leading universities and industrial partners from Europe. The consortium members are the Medical University of Gdańsk and: Medical University of Łódź, Universiteit Maastricht (Netherlands), National University of Ireland (Ireland), Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Boehringer Ingelheim RCV (Austria), Philips Electronics (Netherlands), Asociatia INIT with the FreshBlood HealthTech Community (Romania), DEX Innovation Centre (Czech Republic), MADoPA (France), Roche (Denmark).

The recruitment for the 3rd edition of the program was end in June 2023. The last edition of program will begin in March 2024.
