Open calls for EIT Health educational programmes

EIT Health was established in 2015 as a „Knowledge and Innovation Community” (KIC) within the framework of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The EIT consists of various KICs, each focusing on a different sector or area of innovation – in this case, health and societal ageing. The idea behind the EIT KICs is based on the belief that innovation thrives best when the right people are brought together to share their knowledge and experience. The so-called „knowledge triangle” is the principle that when experts from business, science, and education collaborate, it creates the optimal environment for innovation to flourish.

The Medical University of Gdańsk, through its Technology Transfer Office, has been affiliated with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology since 2018. In 2021, it became an associate partner in the EIT Health network.

As part of its activities, EIT Health is also engaged in education, offering a wide range of courses, bootcamps, hackathons, summer schools, and degree programmes promoted under the institute’s brand. These programmes are aimed at students, PhD candidates, researchers and research groups, as well as startup representatives.

Currently, the following educational opportunities are available on the EIT Health website:
