Morning Health Talks

Morning Halth Talks

EIT Health Morning Health Talks (MHTs) are a series of high-profile events organised twice a year, in 17 countries eligible for the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS). They aim to initiate thought-provoking discussions on the most pressing topics related to the implementation of innovations in the healthcare sector and to create a networking environment for operating professionals in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.

In 2020, the Medical University of Gdansk held a series of Morning Health Talks to present clinicians’ approaches to the use of artificial intelligence. One of the speakers was Dr. Łukasz Znaniecki from the Department of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at GUMed. Experiences in creating innovative solutions were shared by the Machine Learning specialist. Funding opportunities for artificial intelligence projects were also outlined, and specialists answered ongoing questions from participants.

The Morning Health Talks series covered the following topics:
– „The future of medicine enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI)”,
– „Out of the box – medical innovation.”
– „Networking and innovation. How to build business relationships?”
– „Collaboration with EIT Health’.
