The MUG Technology Transfer Office implements the project “Innovation Incubator 4.0” in the Consortium, consisting of:
- Medical University of Gdańsk – Consortium Leader,
- University of Gdańsk,
- Centrum Innowacji Medycznych sp. z o.o. – a special purpose vehicle of the Medical University of Gdańsk.
The total co-financing of the project amounts to PLN 2 823 900.
The project shall be implemented from 01.07.2020 to 31.04.2023.
The subject of the “Innovation Incubator 4.0” is to assist the entities of the higher education and science system in the implementation of projects aimed at applying the results of scientific research in the economic or social sphere. As part of the “Innovation Incubator 4.0” project, researchers from the Medical University of Gdańsk had the opportunity to apply for R&D research funding, which is intended for the implementation of additional pre-implementation works in order to increase the degree of implementation readiness of the proposed inventions. This gives the opportunity to establish contact with relevant economic operators interested in introducing a given solution to the market.
“Innovation Incubator 4.0” was established by the announcement of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 5 June 2020 on the establishment of the “Innovation Incubator 4.0” program. It is financed from European funds as part of the non-competition project “Support for scientific research management and commercialization of R&D results in research units and enterprises”, implemented under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.
