The Technology Transfer Office MUG within the “Excellence Initiative – Research University” Programme (IDUB) supports the implementation of research and development as well as pre-implementation works aimed at increasing the market potential of conducted research towards the future implementation of research results. As a part of the call, 10 applications were submitted to CCT. All applications met the formal criteria. Three applications received a recommendation for awarding funding.
After a substantive evaluation of the projects, the Investment Committee decided to select the following projects for funding:
1. PoCT-type platform for urosepsis screening based on photonic sensors.

2. An innovative device for assessing the tension of skin lobes in extensive oncological operations.
Head: Prof. Dr. habil. Jacek Zieliński.
Unit: Department and Clinic of Oncological Surgery
3. An innovative composition of dermatological compounds with a protective and pro-regenerative effect.
Project manager: Prof. Dr Habil. Michał Pikuła
Unit: Faculty of Medicine, Department of Embryology
Co-financing for the projects will be allocated for the implementation of additional pre-implementation works in order to increase the degree of implementation readiness of the proposed solutions; these works will include the purchase of materials and raw materials, research services, expert opinions, analyses and reports, all necessary for the proper implementation of the project and costs related to patent protection.
