Inventions made by scientists are a rich source of innovative tools for market strategies. The development and maturity of such enterprises increases the competitiveness of businesses on the market and facilitates their operation in this demanding and extremely dynamic economic environment, both in Poland and abroad. Effective communication between the creator (co-creators) and the university, and between the university and the entrepreneur is a key to success. Innovative technologies or products developed by scientists at higher education institutions (employees, postgraduate students and undergraduate students), according to the proverb “Necessity is the mother of invention”, become an attractive offer not only for start-ups but also for small, medium-sized and large businesses aiming to increase their innovativeness and competitiveness.
